Nounogram

Part nonogram, part crossword.
Deduce the grid and solve the words.

Use the number clues to find the solid squares, then fill the rest with words from the list. Everything you work out from the numbers narrows the words, and the other way around. Three fresh puzzles every day, free.

What is a Nounogram?

A Nounogram is a grid where every square is either solid or holds a letter. You read the numbers along the edges to work out which squares are solid, just like in a nonogram. Then you spell words into the runs of letter squares, across and down, with crossing words sharing a letter, just like in a crossword.

The two halves help each other. A number clue shows you where a word can't go. A word you place shows you which squares around it must be solid. Every puzzle has exactly one answer, and you can reach it by logic alone. You never need to guess.
